Our Ministries and Commissions are the ways in which we connect with one another to do ministry. Most fall in one of the three possible areas, following our Parish Motto: Following Jesus. Inspired by Worship. Boldly Loving All. . The remaining fall under a fourth area, Ministries of Governance—those ministries and commissions who exist solely to enable the first three to take place.

 

Following Jesus – Ministries of Formation & Evangelism

 

All Faith Formation & Evangelism ministries are overseen by the Rector and his delegated staff. Commissions and Ministries in this area are the creation of the Rector, with many ministries reporting regularly to the Vestry. The Rector attends Commission and Ministry meetings as requested and able.

All Worship ministries are overseen by the Rector and his delegated staff. Various Ministries of Worship are the creation of the Rector and report regularly to him. The Rector attends Ministry meetings as requested and able. The Rector also hosts a regular Worship Gathering to provide a context for prayerful conversation among parishioners with regard to the worship of our congregation.

The programmatic ministries of Justice & Pastoral Care of the parish is overseen by the Rector and his delegated staff. The financial choices regarding Justice and Outreach ministries of the parish are overseen by the Vestry. Various Ministries and Commissions for Justice & Pastoral Care are joint creations of the Rector and Vestry. Formal Commissions report regularly to the Vestry. The Rector attends Ministry and Commission meetings as requested and able.
