THRIFT SHOP: There is a Thrift Shop volunteer meeting tomorrow, March 8th, 9:30 a.m., in the Guild Room. Also, the parish is reminded about shopping at our Thrift Shop, too!! Thrift Shop hours are Wednesday 10 – 4 and Friday and Saturday 10 – 1.
HEALING SERVICE: Please join us at our mid-week Healing Service on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 12:30 p.m., in the Guild Room. The next service is Tuesday, March 9th.
ALTAR GUILD: There is an Altar Guild Work Bee scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 6:00 p.m.
EVENSONG: Join us next Sunday, March 14th, 4:00 p.m., as we celebrate Evensong during Lent. David Bower will officiate and the Rev. Kathryn Roberts will preach. As we prepare for the great festival of Easter, these few extra moments of prayer and meditation are a precious gift.
FORUM: Mission & Outreach and the Thrift Shop will be hosting a Sunday Forum on Sunday, March 21st, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., in the Guild Room. Please join us for this informal get-together as we highlight the activities of each group and discuss our roles in the future. Your attendance and input are very important and we hope to see you at this Forum!
EASTER FLOWERS: A donation box is now available on the parish information table for Easter flowers in memory of loved ones. Please include with your donation the printed names of those to be remembered. Checks are to be made payable to the Altar Guild. The last day for names to be included in the Easter bulletin is Monday, March 29th.
RETREAT: The Men’s Group will be embarking on a spring retreat to St. Gregory’s Abbey the weekend of April 16th – 18th. For more information and/or to reserve comfortable accommodations (there are ten beds), please contact John Gork (847-4056) or email johngork1@yahoo.com. The cost of the retreat is a $30 donation to the Abbey and sharing in the cost of the food and supplies for the weekend.
FOOD: On Friday, March 19, Love INC will again be distributing 10,000 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables and other perishable items at St. Patrick’s Church. The giveaway will begin at 10:00 a.m. and is available to any family in need. The food is provided by Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry of West Michigan. Please bring your own containers.
LOVE INC: Love INC is in constant need of Helper Mixes (Hamburger, Tuna, Chicken) and Spaghetti Sauce. These items are frequently depleted from their shelves. When you see these items on sale, please consider purchasing a few extra or even several cases to help feed families in need. For more information contact Jeanette Laarman at 846-2701.
