Join us on Friday, April 28, for the 5th Annual Spring Fling: a Carnivale Masquerade Dinner. This year’s event is black-tie optional and will begin with music and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30pm. There will be drinks, gaming tables, a silent auction and dancing. Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. The great un-masking will be at 10:00pm, at which point the silent auction ends, the winner of the “Dick Swain Memorial Gaming Trophy” will be announced, and the music will turn from classic to more contemporary. This year’s proceeds will be split between two ministries—half will go toward the cost of training and equipping our new Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Children’s Ministry (set to roll out in Fall of 2017) and half will go to our Theological Education Fund to offset costs of those studying for ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons. For more information, or to offer to help organize either the Silent Auction or the dinner, contact event chair, Alicia Hager.
